Carmela has worked in the medical field since 2007. Her career thus far has ranged from work within medical and surgical units in Las Vegas to ensuring the safety and education of patients in a local gastroenterology clinic.

By attaining her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from University of South Alabama, Carmela feels she has an increased opportunity to help her community by promoting health and wellness and alleviating patient suffering associated with ailment.

Carmela is excited to join Advanced Women's Health. Her goal is to treat every patient with respect while working to improve their quality of life. She individualizes patient care to encourage holistic health that encompasses physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.

Outside of her career, Carmela is a wife and mother who cherishes her family. She enjoys traveling, capturing intriguing images throughout the journey. She also likes to crochet, and enjoys baking and running.
